This section is dedicated to literature on the Anglo-Boer War (1899 to 1902) in the form of books, articles or publications. Many will be in different languages, and in doing so will illustrate the world's interest in the Empires war against the small Boer Republics.
View items...This is a particularly favourite section of mine where all manner of ceramics and pottery related to the Boer War are exhibited. Over the decades, many itmes have not survived WW1 and WW2 bombings as well as house clearings. Many generations simply have no knoweldge or value for such items. All these items are becoming more scarce every year!
View items...This was a very interesting custom back in the day to include topical cards for people to read and collect. These cards were also included in other packages goods.
View items...What a lovely feeling to see, touch and smell the money of the Boer Republic. These very pieces of coins, notes, bonds, cheques were all proudly used by your kinsman . These are all beautiful to a Boer.
View items...This section is a bit of a combination of items in figurine form - whether partially or full. Many are custom and one of a kind pieces - they are all beautiful in their own peculiar way. I hope the artist in you or the war-gamer enjoys these.
View items...These items were almost exclusively made with someone in mind - many are unique and were the treasure of a loved-one and passed down to the next generation. They were so much more than just silver or gold...
View items...I hope you enjoy looking at these lapels as much as I loved finding them. They are all antiques, each with its own unique story.

View items...Official medals and decorations were never something the Boervolk strived for - awards were of little consequence in their strife for freedom and survival. They were not soldiers or glory seekers, but ordinary citizens defending against an occupying and invading army of the British Empire.
View items...At this point in time, the emphasis of this section will be on the Boer Republic's military and their insignia. The Boers had no real army to speak of and finding items related to their police, cavalry or artillery is extremely challenging. These items of heritage are therefore very precious!!!
View items...This is an interesting collection of items that do not always sit neatly into a category. Please enjoy these items - many have never been seen before.
View items...Boer prisoners of war (POW) had the opportunity and skill to make and sell their wares. Many had sharp and bespoke instruments with them, thereby making anything from novelty items to chairs and desks - supply and demand at its best. The most common material used was wood and bone.
