This is essentially a hobby website which aims to celebrate and honour the Boervolk (Boer People). 
 
The Boers (not to be confused with the term boer, which means farmer) established two “Republieke” in southern Africa, which this white African tribe named:
 
            • Zuid Afrikaansche Republiek (ZAR)
 
            • Oranje Vrystaat (OVS) 
 
The items you will find within this website are almost all antique and have been humbly accepted by myself as their custodian. Preserving one’s heritage is a duty and none of the items are for sale!
 
Thank you again to all those that have kindly donated items of the Anglo-Boer War period (1899 to 1902) - their preservation is of utmost importance.
